60 Studies Op 45 Complete
Franz Wohlfahrt - 60 Studies, Op. 45 Complete: Books 1 and 2 for Violin The study of the violin presents certain difficulties for beginners which are frequently the cause of a sudden abatement in the pupil’s zeal and ambition, even before he has mastered the first rudiments. The blame for this is commonly laid on the teacher, who is called incapable or negligent; losing sight of the fact that the pupil began his studies without the slightest notion, not merely of the difficulties to be encountered, but also of the regular and assiduous industry indispensable for surmounting them. It is important, therefore, to smooth these first asperities by showing their utility and making them agreeable; to this end my Violin Method was published and the present Exercises have been written, which latter may be considered as forming a supplement to the former. If practised carefully and intelligently, they will serve as a solid foundation for the technique of any player ambitious to become an artist.Franz Wohlfahrt 60 Studies Op 45 Complete

Ironpower Publishing has combined 3 classic violin string method study books into one great value book. These original books have been a staple of violin teachers and their students for around a century. Because these books are often used together we thought it made great sense to pack them into one complete money saving volume. Instead of having to purchase the books separately you now have the convenience and economy of them all being in the same book. The books contained are by Franz Wohlfahrt, Jan Hrimaly, and Rodolphe Kreutzer... Franz Wohlfahrt: 60 Studies for the Violin, Op45 (Etudes No. 1-60) Jan Hrimaly: Scale-Studies for Violin Rodolphe Kreutzer: 42 Studies (Etudes) or Caprices for the Violin Wohlfahrt's book (Franz Wohlfahrt: 60 Studies for the Violin, Op45) is actually originally two books of 30 Etudes each, combined into 60 Etudes or studies. The Etudes are a bestselling mainstay of violin study and are a must-have for any violinist. The sixty studies which increase in difficulty are wonderful for learning technique and also notes. The studies are fun to play while learning and designed to reinforce and enhance the student's technical foundation. They are not your normal boring scales. They are small pieces of actual music that concentrate on technique. Playing actual music versus scales puts more demand on the bow arm, so the learning is more conducive to actually applying the technique musically. Great to be used in conjunction with the two other violin technique books in this volume. Hrimaly's book (Jan Hrimaly: Scale-Studies for Violin) of scales & scale based exercises is a classic of violin technique teachings. Hrimaly was an infl uential Czechoslovakian teacher and violinist. He was associated with the Moscow Conservatory for forty six years. These are his progressive scale studies in 10 sections. The many different scales and arpeggios are a great teaching for all levels and will never be outgrown by the student. Kreutzer's book (Rodolphe Kreutzer: 42 Studies [Etudes] or Caprices for the Violin) is a must have for serious violin students. For intermediate to early advanced violinists the famous exercises are standard repertoire. The compilation of the 3 complete books is comprised of scans of pre 1923 sheet music by various music publishers. Overall it's a warts and all (although we have cleaned up and digitally enhanced as much as possible) reproduction of some very old manuscripts so there are some minor printing imperfections owing to the age and quality of these original manuscripts. We hope you get a lot of benefit from performing the many various exercises in this book and with consistent practice takes your piano playing technique skills to a new level.Bassoon Fundamentals
